So the blocks you see blackened out will not be in yours like that if you set it up right so far. On the 5th icon this is left side little gray gear this is your Options so click on that and it will bring you to this screen So now we have to set up a few things so let's go thru that so were into the main GUI now As for the NAT Light mine stays Yellow most of the time but it does go green sometimes but will not stay When you do get to the GUI it may take up to 30 minutes for the DHT Light to go green but after we get the settings right your DHT Light will go green between 10 to 20 minutes.If you have read the Wiki it will tell you it can take up to 30 minutes but usually within a few minutes mine will go Green.

you have to put that inside there manually and on each new install or upgrade you will have to reinstall the bdboot.txt file. There will probably not be a bdboot.txt file inside your folder yet. Open the folder with all the numbers in there Find it highlight it push the right arrow key and it should be over to the right box as mine then hit apply then okĪnd then you should be able to see the /.retroshare folder in the Dolphin file manager If you got the version I have you have to go into settings/configure tool bar now your's will probably be over in the left block. Some can open it if you click on view and in the Dropdown you will see show hidden files tick it and this will open up the hidden files for you.


So lets open Dolphin to get to the location where the file is to be addedĭolphin may not set to open hidden files yours may not look so we can set it too. Don't panic as I have included a Dropbox link from which you can get the file. It needs to be placed in the hidden directory /home//.retroshare/ directory. What we have to do here is to manually put in the file. The reason for this is, on all installs RetroShare needs a file that is called bdboot.txt. If I remember correctly they will be either Red or Black. Take notice of the lights on the bottom of the snapshot.
